Nice to meet you!
I'm Amber, and I'm so glad you're considering me as your photographer! I'm a portrait and wedding photographer in Northern California, with a studio in south Chico.
I started studying photography and creating portraits when I was 17, and haven't put the camera down since. I specialize in Family and Dance Portraits, but I love to do it all. Every photo has a story, and I love capturing the emotions that can't be put into words:
The glow in a baby's first smiles.
The dedication in every artist and athlete.
The pride in a graduating student.
The loved shared in every smile between bride and groom.
After changing my major (twice!) and graduating with 2 Associate's Degrees from Butte College, I graduated from CSU, Chico with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and minor in Photographic Studies in May 2022. I lived in Paradise from 2001 to 2021, and then relocated to Chico. In 2019 I turned part of my family's warehouse into a shooting space (mostly for dancers), and I just moved to a brand new location in July 2023. I am so excited to share that journey of completely revamping the space and making it a fun, inviting, and professional space for every type of session from newborns to graduates, to families, and more.
Outside from photography, I am a multi-business owner, seamstress, and cat-mom to Nova and Percy. I love all things Disneyland and ballet!
